The two techniques that I used in this assignment is flash back and flash forward. I used flashback in my version of the fairytale “Hansel and Gretel” by mentioning in the story words like “remember” for example; “Hansel just remembered that before they left the witches home, he brought loads of gold for the family.” I wrote that in my story because I mentioned that Hansel just had a flshback about how he stole gold from the witches candy house. I also used flashforward in the story by using by saying “While Gretel was doing the chores, she imagined ahead of time that the evil witch would try her best to trick her into doing something to her.” This shows that Gretel was already thinking ahead of time that the evil witch would try to do something to her just like she did to Hansel. There are two examples in the story how I was able to use Flashback and flashforward.
